Pumpkin picking

I am ??? I bet you cant guess!
Last weekend we went over to the Whites house for some more party time. It was late so the kids got to have a pajama party.
She didn't want to wash her pretty face off.
Today Luke's Preschool went on a field trip. To a real pumpkin patch. Most of the one in the field were either too ripe or too green. Luke got rotten pumpkin on his shoe. But they had a great time and he still found the perfect one.

Our ward had the chillie dinner/ halloween party saturday. The kids were excited. So you all now get a preview at what we are for halloween. Star wars!

We went to 6 haunted houses. Some better then others. Our favorites 2  for those in the Denver area that might want to get super scared. Scream Park & Spider Mansion. They are worth the $. The best 2 in Colorado! 

October Fun

I decided to update now that I have some time.We have had guests for the past 12 days. It has been fun. Here are some of the things we were doing. Tombstone treats. They were fun but a bit too much sugar.
All the kids got to decorate. Making messes are fun. John Had the most fun with the grass
We got the American Idol game for the Wii. It was a blast. Abe is rocking out in this picture. He was getting into it. I was rather surprised at how GOOD Andy was. He is a good singer and fun to watch also.
Of course we also had to teach Bekki and Rachael how to play guitar hero. That is addicting so we played that a lot. They caught on quickly. Congrats to both who can now finish a song with out getting Booed off.

Fun Day

Cassidy's School had a fun day today. It was a great day to have it too. Jump over, crawl under. as fast as you can. But of course there is not a winner. They all did great. But I think Cassidy might want to try out for  track and field when she is older.


What fun day is complete with out the bag race? 


Then the all time favorite with the parachute. The moon walk, Volcano, Indians. climbing mountains, all those fun games.
 To wrap it all up with the tug-o-war/ rope pull. Her class won but here they are cheering on their teacher during the staff pull.  Good team support. If only pictures could show the volume. It was load. Mrs Minnis didn't let her class down. 

Fire Station field trip

Today was a field trip day for Luke. His first one. He was very excited. John found out that they were going to see a fire truck and wanted to tag along too. Mrs Karen said it was fine. 
Everyone got to take turns climbing all around the trucks. John wouldn't stay out. 
We got to watch a fire man get in his suite. Some of the kids got scared but not Luke or John. We also got to see the whole fire house. the kitchen, bedrooms, and of course the pole. We didn't get to go down but we did watch one the firemen. 
They gave all the kids cool hats. That was a big hit. Then they had a good time playing at a park. Of Course they practiced sliding down that pole and pretended to be firemen.
