Moving Day (Good bye Ghetto Valley Ranch)!!!

We are armpits deep in mud in the new house. the builder hasnt put the fence up yet (so thats fun with three dogs), the landscapers wont be putting in the grass for another week and a half. UGGG

But at least we are in are NEW house yay!

our first house!!!

So we did it!. We closed on our house. I am very proud to have a key.  It was the same day as the tornados. They touched down just a few miles away. I would have been one crazy woman if they took out my house the day we closed.

So now we are just crazy packing and taking some small loads up. A lot of miles are going to be put on my car this next month. June 18th cant come fast enough. That is Cassidy's last day of school. So even after we are all moved in I will still be making the long drive. UUUGGG!

Oops, He did it again!

I was doing some serious packing today. We close on our house tomorrow. YA!

I went to see what my trouble boys were up to. They  were too quiet. I found Luke up on the table trying to catch a fish with his jump rope and John again covered in powder. With all the packing he must have found an old bottle. What is with this Kid????

He is so proud of himself!

He must not of thought he smelled fresh enough, Because I caught him trying to go after some baby cologne.  
I sent him out of the room so I could clean up. He went strait for the bathroom to admire his work.  He has his dad's gloves on to help pack. Can you tell how much help he is? Thats my boys. 

Fathers and Sons!

Luke and I got to go on the Stake fathers and sons. It was a blast. We went up to Ellsworth park, up on Lookout Mountain. We had a great time. It started to rain a little bit during the fireside, but other than that we were very comfortable.

Mothers Day

I had a wONDERful day! I can't believe I now have 2 children singing in primary. Luke was so cute. Cassidy was a great big sister who wouldn't leave his side. They held hands the whole time. I wanted to cry. It was hard holding back tears.

 Luke had a hard time after church, He made some mothers day  gifts in Sunbeams class, But they ran out of time and didn't get to finish. The teacher told them they will next week. But that was not OK with him. He cried, he was so excited that he got to make something special for me and wanted to give it. The teacher made him happy by giving him some candy that he could give to me. Of course he later ate it. 

After church we went up to the lake house to take measurements and pictures. We also used that time to drive around & see her school, shops, etc. It was such a beautiful warm day we got to have a great family fun time on the Beach. It was a time we will never forget.

The water was already nice. I will enjoy getting wet later. We were told that the water will get in the mid 70's or higher.  NICE!

On the way down to the beach. Abe almost stepped on large snake. It was very hard to see. Man they blend in well. This picture was only 1/2 of his body. He went down his hole very fast.

The sand was a blast. The kids thought it was so fun to sink and get stuck. I will admit it was pretty fun.  Especially when daddy had to come and rescue. John did not follow directions very well when we told the kids to take off their shoes. He lost one crock under the mud. I was happy Abe noticed and then went back and found it in one of the littlest footprints. 

After we were all funned out, We washed off on the boat ramp. Even Precious. We lost another crock there. This time it was Lukes, It washed away in a wave. Once again Big Daddy came to the rescue.  Like all children, water means swimming, even if mom says NO. All the children had to ride home Butt Naked. HAHAHAHA. (well, john had a diaper on, I didn't want Pee on my seats)

Demo day.

Today was a boat demo day. I'm so glad that it was a BEAUTIFUL day.  Much better then last Thursday. Our legs got to see the sun. 
This is not the boat we will get. Ours is blue not red. Everything else is the same. 
Abe is very happy with this one. It drives the best out of all the boats so far.
While Abe and JD were wiping down the boat, The kids had a good time throwing mud & rocks, & getting dirty. Good daddy cleaning them off before they get in the car.

Baby Powder

So this morning I got up before the kids. After eating breakfast with Cassidy & Jalisa. All was still quiet so I thought they were still asleep. Until I saw this. 

I had Just that bottle of baby powder the other day. Boy am I glad Abe talked me into the cheap store brand and the small bottle. John Used it all. Nothing was left inside.

His legs were as white as his onesie. Even after dusting him off and taking off his clothes He still Looked like Casper.

I got it all cleaned up with Jalisa's help (thank you Jalisa) We had a good laugh from all of this. My room was like a cloud. I could taste the powder. everything got dusty. 

After I was all done and ready to get in the shower to I noticed that even my Eyelashes were white. Between my toes, It was a morning to go in the books that for sure. 

At least it was better the yesterday. The boys found a water gun. and decided to have a water fight yesterday upstairs in the hall. Mommy was not to happy with that one. Parts of my carpet are still wet.

We Think its a Deal!

So we went up and signed our contracts with the builder and set a close date for May 23rd!! We are now just waiting for appraisals and some bank stuff, but we think we have a winner (don't worry if you are in my Elders Quorum, we are hiring movers!) .
