Endless Summer

We are loving this summer. Our friends the Porters came up to the Lake House on Saturday afternoon, for some fun on the lake. Their camera is way awesome (thanks Casey!!). After seeing the action shots they were able to get, I think it will be time to upgrade to a nicer camera. It was pretty choppy, except for the last 30 minutes. Then finally all the redneck jet skiers were gone and the water got pretty nice. (Did I mention that I HATE jet skiers!!)

I was going to flex in this one, but I didnt want you to be totally blown away by the awesomeness of it! I am sporting a new  (smaller) vest. I have lost some lbs!!

I love this shot of the mountains in the background.

The credit for this one goes to Nic and his photoshopping abilities. Thanks man!

Here is my smokin hot wife! She is a GREAT boat driver. (I am sorry I micromanage from the water AMBER, I LOVE YOU)

The above captions are an Actual Representation of what was going on. I thought Nic was going to need to change his suit. ha ha. Thanks for the cool shots porters, we love hanging out with you!!

Happy Fathers.

I'm a little late posting the pictures. It was crazy every day getting Cassidy to School. She had her last day Wednesday. She was sad but I was Excited! I don't have to drive 200 miles everyday. So now that I have a few minutes to sit, I decided to post. Last weekend was Fathers day & we got spend it with Grandpa Charlie too. John was so excited to carry the present all by himself to Grandpa Charlie.
It was before church of course. The kids picked out there own cards too. Luke of course picked a Indiana Jones card for dad.
Adam and grandpa came so spend some time with us before Adam leaves for his mission. It was a good visit. We spent most of the time on the boat. We all had fun except Cassidy. She got a rope burn within the first 5 minutes. They did it all this weekend. Tubes, wake boards, Knee boards, and finished off with surfing. Luke wants to do everything his dad does. He even got up on the wake board for a bit and he is only 4. This is him surfing. Just like the song "I'm watching you dad."

Official Boat Post

After Many requests to see pictures of our new boat, here they are.

It is a 2008 Malibu Wakesetter VLX, 21.5 ft V-drive.

It is SUPER responsive and rides like a dream. It is so nice being right across from the lake, because we can go out for like 30 minutes at a time and it doesn't wear the kids out too much.

Here's hot mama, driving while I go get the trailer.

Yours Truly, of course, (Notice I Do Not Have a Watch On)
The best time of day, just enjoying the cool evening, listening to music while we wipe her down and put her away.

If you want to come on out just give me a call. The water temp is like 72 deg. So it has been great!

If anyone is looking to get a boat I would like to give a shout out to Tommy's Slalom Shop in Denver (that is the store logo on our hull) they are great and treated us Like Family.

Always better with friends.

The Millers & Heaps. Kris & Sarah came to Visit. It was a short but sweet. This was taken bright and Early in the morning. Cassidy's looks like she just woke up because she did.
Then Heather brought her kids to play. We got to try out our new and AWSOME tube. IT IS THE BEST EVER!!! even when it is not blown up all the way.
They had a great time! we waited till they looked too cold. Of course they wanted to do it again but they looked freezing.
I think I made the right call. This is Luke trying to stay warm.

Moving pictures.

Little John found this when we were packing. We HAD it in the get rid of pile. O-well. How can you resist something so cute? He wore it all night.
Wednesday morning. 9 am. Allied did a great job. Thank you! That is one big truck. The boys of course loved it. What boy wouldn't ?
I am so glad we found this great house in the best neighborhood. I couldn't ask for a better place to raise our children. As we were unloading some neighbor kids came to play.
Then more neighbors. Of course they had a race. Thats a given. The next day even more kids. so many new friends. My children love it here. They LOVE playing outside. I love having a place where I don't have to worry.
What better way to cool off then a quick run in the sprinklers? I can't wait for my yard to be done.
More pictures to come soon. I just got my computer up and running today. ( I should say Abe. He did it for me. Thank you babe.)We got our boat Saturday so I will post those pictures later. We are in our new house and loving every min.
